I’m honored to share that I was featured in the October 2023 issue of Social Northshore Living magazine!

This spotlight means so much to me—not just as an artist, but as someone deeply rooted in the culture and beauty of southern Louisiana. The feature highlights some of my most beloved pieces, including my oyster and blue heron paintings, as well as a glimpse into the heart behind my work.

In the article, you’ll find a bit about my journey: from growing up wild and barefoot among the marshes, to creating art that reflects the stillness, soul, and color of our natural world. My goal has always been to capture the overlooked beauty in our everyday surroundings and share it in a way that feels both familiar and sacred.

The magazine did a beautiful job of showcasing what the J. Williams Gallery is all about—honoring our roots, staying inspired by nature, and bringing intentional color into our homes and lives.
