I am beyond honored to have been selected as the official poster artist for the 2023 Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival!

Creating this vibrant, joyful piece was an absolute dream. I wanted it to feel like music looks—bold, soulful, colorful, and alive. Inspired by the sounds, flavors, and spirit of Louisiana, the poster brings together elements like brass horns, crawfish, magnolias, and music notes—all dancing together atop a radiant smile that captures the heartbeat of Bogalusa.

Being asked to represent such a beloved event with my art is a milestone I don’t take lightly. To see this painting celebrated throughout the community and embraced by the festival's audience has been such a humbling and exciting experience.

And just when I thought the excitement couldn’t grow, I was also featured in the October 2023 issue of Social Northshore Living. This month has been a full-circle celebration of art, music, and the deep-rooted culture I hold so dear.
